Six controls, seven builders, one re-check date on every page.

Send a correction

Corrections, disputed capabilities and platform requests. The first is the most useful thing you can send, and the one this desk acts on fastest.

Re-checked 19 September 2026

Everything reaches [email protected], and most of it gets an answer.

Corrections

A correction jumps every other queue on this desk. If a setting has moved, a panel has been renamed, a control has appeared or a capability recorded here as not documented turns out to be documented after all, send the link to the page you are reading and, if you have it, the vendor page that contradicts it.

Every claim on this site carries a date it was last checked, so a correction is usually quick to verify and the page is re-dated the same week. Corrections that make a low-scoring platform look better are just as welcome as the other kind — arguably more so, since a low score built on thin documentation is the most fragile thing this site publishes.

Disputed judgements

Scores are judgements and judgements are arguable. If you think a capability has been weighted wrongly — that robots.txt access matters more than this site treats it, or that a missing redirect manager matters less — make the argument. The scoring reasoning is written out on the control audit precisely so it can be picked apart.

What will not move a score is the absence of a capability being inconvenient for somebody's business case.

Platform requests

Seven builders are audited here. If there is a hosted builder that should be and is not, say which and what its SEO surface looks like. The bar is that it has to be a hosted website builder with its own settings layer — self-hosted content management systems are a different category with a different set of questions, and they are not this site's subject.

Vendors and partnerships

Platform teams are welcome to write, and the offer to them is the same as the offer to everybody else: a correction and a re-check. What is not available is a placement, a guaranteed score, a sponsored page, a review copy read before publication, or a link added because a programme pays well.

How this site is funded is set out in full in the affiliate disclosure, including which vendors are deliberately not linked at all.

Reprints

Quote what is useful with a link back. To reproduce a whole page or the control matrix somewhere else, ask first; the answer is usually yes, and it is always yes if you keep the check dates attached, because a capability claim without its date is how this whole field got into trouble.
