What this site collects, which is close to nothing
A short, accurate account of the data RankReady handles: what the site itself stores, what the email list stores, and what happens when you follow a partner link away from here.
This site is a set of static pages. There is no account system, no comment system, no login, and nothing that needs to know who you are in order to show you a page.
What the site stores about you
Nothing that identifies you. No advertising cookies are set, no cross-site tracking pixels are embedded, and no third-party analytics script that profiles visitors runs on these pages.
The server that delivers the site keeps ordinary web server logs — the requested address, a timestamp, the browser's user-agent string, the requesting IP address — in the way essentially every web server does. They exist to keep the site up and to notice abuse, they are not joined to anything else, and they are not used to build a profile of a visitor.
The email list
If you submit your address to the change log, that address is stored so the change log can be sent to you. It is used for nothing else. It is not sold, not rented, not shared with the platforms reviewed here, and not used to match you against an advertising audience.
Every message carries an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing deletes the record rather than suppressing it. You can also ask for the address to be removed at any time by writing to the desk, and no reason is required.
Partner links
Following a /go/ link on this site sends you to a vendor. At that point you are on their property and their privacy policy applies, not this one. Most affiliate programmes set a cookie to attribute a later signup, and this site has no control over the contents or lifetime of that cookie.
Two things are true about that and worth stating plainly. This site is told when a referral converts, and the report it receives contains no personal information about who you are. And declining the whole arrangement is easy: go to the vendor directly instead of through the link.
Children
Nothing here is directed at children and the site does not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes materially, the revised version replaces this page and the date at the top of the site changes with it. Questions, deletion requests and anything else about data go to [email protected], or through the contact page.
